Dr Lane is the owner of PHD Chiropractic and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and the British Chiropractic Association.
She studied Genetics at Newcastle University before going on to study Chiropractic at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth.
She practiced in London before deciding to serve in the Army for 11yrs. At the end of 2008 she began to develop her practice in Kew before opening up her Barnes practice in 2009.
In December 2010 her 'Chiropractic mentor' died and she was asked to locum, looking after his patients in Sudbury, Suffolk and as a result she sold her Barnes and Kew clinics, and she and her husband bought PHD Chiropractic Clinic in 2011.
She keeps up to date with research by attending regular seminars and courses.
When Dr Lane is not working, she enjoys competing in triathlons, riding the family rescue pony, and spending time with her family. She also loves travelling, reading and playing the piano.
Career Highlights
In 2021 Dr Lane was invited to become the resident Chiropractor on BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, travelling to the Elstree studios in North London every week during the 3 month production, to treat production staff, presenters, dancers and some of the celebrity contestants.
In 2016 Dr Lane travelled to Botswana where she volunteered to work for the charity World Spine Care for 3 months. She spent her time working in the hospital in Mahalapye and in a rural clinic in Shoshong (central Botswana).
She saw more neurological conditions in the first day than she has seen in 13 years in the UK.
Her husband and two small children accompanied her on the trip and had some fabulous times on safari in Southern Africa during her time off.
In 2009, she responded to a call from the Association of Italian Chiropractors calling for assistance at the L'Aquila earthquake, she volunteered out there, treating the Italian firemen and the Red Cross workers. It was such a success she is now Treasurer of CAT (Chiropractic Action Team), who support humanity internationally through donating chiropractic services.
